Levittown's First Official Family
The first 20 families arrived on June 23, 1952. A group of reporters followed John and Philomena Dougherty, Levittown's first official family, as they moved into their new home at 67 Stonybrook Drive. Their front yard was still a construction site,  with new landscaping and muddy streets, but the Doughertys were happy to be home.
